My Ten Lessons from Founders Conference 2018

I want to share with you some lessons I got from Founders Conference 2018 held at Pitis Hub, Maryland Lagos.

The lessons...
  1. To be rich you need minimum of four streams of income- Onyema Akuma
  2.  If you are lucky to have committed employees know that they are also people with dreams, ambition and aspiration. Allow them to thrive- Ola Brown.
  3. Don’t start early in your business looking for funding without any form of validation. It will be herculean and you may be discouraged. Rather, bootstrap to an extent where your vision becomes tangible- Ola Brown
  4. You don’t have a business if you are not selling- Bunmi Jembola
  5. There are four pillars of business growth- an optimal sales system, a respectable brand, a visible brand and an excellent people culture.- Bunmi Jembola
  6. Don't quit your day job to start a business but quit your job to grow a business- Bunmi Jembola
  7. If you are not inspired by the BEST, you can never be the BEST – Bunmi Jembola
  8. The best form of validation is not market survey; produce a minimum viable product and push it to the market.- Bunmi Jembola
  9. Don’t keep a circle of friends who are going nowhere. They will ground you. Check your whatsapp profile the first 5-10 people that you spend your time chatting have a great influence on you- Ola Brown
  10. Failure is about the most important trajectory to success. I failed several times and it is because of that failure that I am succeeding- Onyeka
