A friend of mine once told me years ago that there was
nothing that she could do. Nothing at all! She said this with all confidence. I
was shocked and asked her to think that she would surely remember. On the
contrary, she began remembering and mentioning all her “Inabilities”. She said
things like:
“I can’t write”
“I’m not intelligent”
“I can’t do this and that”.
The list went on and on but suddenly, I halted her and
asked:
“But you can play football and basket ball?”
This she gave a cold reply to:
Many of us are like this girl. We restrict our abilities so
much to the abilities that we think that really “matter”, forgetting the “unpopular”
abilities that can actually make us stand out.
Who could have thought that Joseph, the dreamer boy could
metamorphose to a Prime Minister?
Who could have thought that the girl, Joyce Meyer, who was raped
many times would turn out to be one of the most influential people in America
today?
Who would have thought that the once despised girl, Oprah
Winfrey, who suffered a lot of depression because of the sexual abuse she
passed through would emerge as a top wealthy and impactful woman in America
today?
Sweetheart, Believe in yourself.
Don’t see the inabilities, see your abilities.
Don’t see the weaknesses, see your strengths.
Don’t see the boss that says you can do nothing, see the
colleague that knows your worth.
Don’t see the family that looks down on you, see the POSH Family that believes so much in you.
You were created to soar high.
You have the potential to become it.
If you can imagine it, you sure can become it.
POSH loves you and wants you to be the best you can.
Stay POSHED!
