Many ladies have lost out in their life's visions
and purpose because of a few things that we would look at today.
Our case study today is Lady DInah (Gen. 34:1-31).
She was very elegant, gorgeous and beautiful that she was admired by all.
However, she lost it all when she forgot her worth and was eventually raped by
a certain uncircumcised prince (Shechem), Hence, her brothers out of annoyance
asked the question:"Should he have treated our sister like a
prostitute?"
Many ladies with promising future have a similar
story like Dinah. But i'm here to announce to us, ladies that we have some tips
on making ourselves invaluable.
- Know your worth- Know that as a lady, you are worth more than rubies (Prov. 31:10).See yourself as a PRINCESS <the daughter of Zion>. King Solomon married 700 wives and 300 concubines, yet, for one of them, the Beloved, he wrote the romantic poetic lines of Songs of Solomon. He saw her worth, hence he had to do everything to get her. Don't make yourself cheap, because you are worth the value you place on yourself.
- Mind your friends- Friends are the side-walk bars we need to support us in life until we get to the zenith of our destiny. Hence, these bars determine our smooth your walk will be. In the same way, your friends determine how fast, far and smooth your journey of life will be. Many a lady has lost her virginity because of "friends". Decide today to have friends that will always add and/or multiply values and potentials to your life, not those that will subtract or divide the ones you already have.
