POSSIBILITIES of SOARING HIGH (POSH) 2020 EXPOSITION

2019 was our Year of Prosperity through Obedience in POSH.

How many of us remember? I knew that there was going to be prosperity but it was tied to obedience. In disobedience, I experienced lack, disfavor and losses. But immediately I began to align myself in obedience to God's Word, everything began to change.

 Many times, when something is about to happen, we 'feel' or even 'see' it, but because may of us are casual with our lives, including spiritual activities, we lose sight if what the supernatural is signaling to us. Tonight, i will be sharing with us things we need to take seriously this year, and the first I will point out is Spiritual Sensitivity and Alertness.

Never take Heaven's signals lightly. Do you feel 'somehow' about something or someone? Start praying! Don't be hasty in taking decisions you feel uneasy about.

I want to share a story with us...

Last 2 months and last month, I was looking for an apartment. Eventually, I saw one that I liked, paid immediately and was ready to settle down. The landlord had begun to work the necessary things. But something happened... I had a dream where I saw blood on the wall of an apartment where I was in and a man was behind me (I believe it was an angel) explaining to me that the person that built this house has made invocations that anyone staying in the apartment will have miscarriages. I had another dream also.

Then, I woke up crying...It was scary! I began to pray... But each time I tried to pray, I was crying. Crying profusely and uncontrollably.

Remember, I had paid money in thousands. There was no way I could forfeit it.

So, the unction to pray kept coming and prayed more in tongues. Next, the landlord stopped taking his calls. After 2 days, he called the agent and said that he wanted to give the house to a relative, hence we should come and take our money back.. Within 3 minutes, he sent the money back.

Immediately, God told me that I would get another apartment cheaper and better. Within the next 5 minutes, the agent called that there was another apartment. I checked the house, paid the next day and 4 days later, I was in my peaceful apartment. Imagine if I hadn't gotten this spiritual signal! Imagine if I hadn't paid attention to it. Imagine if I hadn't prayed! Imagine if God hadn't showed up!

Many lose their lives and God's blessings for their lives to carelessness. God reveals to redeem if you will listen and take action- prayer, movement or speaking. If you're willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land. Don't spend this year without spiritual sensitivity if you don't want to lose in the physical.

So, welcome to 2020, officially.

Our focus for this year is REST THROUGH SEEKING HIM... 2Chronicles 15:15

"And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about." I discovered that Judah had no REST until they RESTED on God's Word. From this scripture. 2 Chronicles 15:1-end

You can't have REST until you REST on God's Word. And you can't REST on the Word of God if you don't SEEK Him. The Word of God is a way we know God when we seek Him. God told me about this year in November... I was so excited that I couldn't wait to enter into this 2020. But there remains a rest for them...

There's a rest that only God gives. It's the rest and peace you have amidst the crisis of the world

There's a rest we receive at redemption and there's also a rest we receive when we begin to walk in accordance with God's Word.

''Come unto me all you who are laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. For I am gentle and humble I'm heart and you will find Rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29

The first rest is fresh... Just by accepting and confessing Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. The second is worked for to be attained. You get it when you seek to learn of Him. So, we have rest round about for us, if we choose to rest, trust, rely on seeking Him alone.

You've sought men all these years, what have you received in return? This is God's question for someone.

You've trusted in your skill and intelligence all this period, where has it gotten you to?

Until you get tired of doing it on your own, God will leave you to your power. God steps in when you choose to out your trust Him.

Don't get blinded by your previous achievements... Without Him, you can do nothing!

1. Focus

What you don't focus on diminishes.

2020 is not a year to gamble. Prayerfully choose a path and pursue it

He blesses the work of our hands... Any legal work. Focus on something. Focus on your job.

Focus on a skill. Focus on your studies. Focus on God. Just ensure you focus on a course and pursue it with all your heart and strength. It's been discovered that what you dedicate 1 hour of your time, daily to do, in 10 years, you'll be a master in it.

Where do you want to grow?

Invest your TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY in it.

Don't be lackadaisical.

Pay attention to your growth.

Pay attention to your business.

Pay attention to your career.

Pay attention to your studies.

Pay attention to your finances.

Pay attention to your health.

Pay attention to your relationships.

Pay attention to your marriage.

Pay attention to your Vision.

Pay attention to your purpose.

Pay attention to everything you desire growth in. Just pay attention to them and watch them grow.

Last year, i paid attention to my career and I saw the difference... I got 5 job offers in 4 months and also had private clients who clamoured for my physiotherapy services. It wasn't just favour... There was the hardwork factor. There was the FOCUS factor. Favour is when preparedness meets with opportunities- Apst. Joshua Selman

And that leads to the second point...

2. DOING

Doing is the present continuous tense of the verb To Do.

It's a continuous thing... What are you planning to do? It's time to start DOING it!

 Some of us plan and plan to the extent that the plan loses essence because of over-planning. This is a year of ACTION! That business you wanna start or take to the next level... START IT TODAY! That job you wanna apply for? Start doing it!

That course you wanna run... Start doing it! Some people here are afraid... Afraid of failing. Do it afraid! Start DOING it today and do it afraid.

The first business I did alone was in my first year, and I did it without any form of experience. I just wanted to have a source of income. I sold hair accessories in hostels... And guess what! I didn't finish selling them because there was a decline in customers' patronage.😅 Though I made 100% gain.

Next, I started selling A4  papers for practical drawings to my colleagues... 😅

I also started jewelry business, but all these were things I just ventured into, afraid! Very afraid!

Stop being afraid! You've been reading theories for so long and procrastinating acting, START DOING!

Someone is asking: 'What if I fail?'

And I ask: 'What if you don't fail?'

Start DOING this 2020. Decide to DO and you'll see the results. Some of us here don't have jobs and we are still smiling about it? This is not a year to stat idle!

I got the last job I did and where I am now through adverts I saw on a WhatsApp group.

I applied to more than 40 organizations last year and got 6 invitations for interviews.😅😅 Did I give up? Nope!

So, go out there and apply for jobs. Start small and grow! This is not a year to stay at home! Volunteer! Offer free services as you wait for paid jobs.

That takes us to the next point...

3. SERVICE

You can become rich through selling; But you can become great through SERVICE.

 To some of us, service is Arabic. Many of us don't believe there's any need to serve. You can't do anything unless there's money or a favour to gain. That's a poor mentality. You really don't want to be great!

Serve God!

Serve a Vision, like POSH!

Serve a platform, like here!

Serve an organization!

Serve a Mentor!

Just serve! And do it wholeheartedly!

Never serve to gain from the person you're serving. Once you're serving to gain applause, you've gotten your reward already.

Serve to gain experience.

Serve to Grow!

Serve to Replicate!

Service is the gateway to greatness!

oseph served, hence he became a Prime minister. David served, hence he became a King.

Esther served Mordecai, hence she became a Queen...

Service matters if you want to matter!

THE LAST POINT...

4. GIVING

But I just want to encourage you to set goals of not just what to earn but also what to *GIVE*

In 2020, GIVE! The patronage dropped, so I left it.

Give to God!

Give to your family!

Give to a course!

Give to a vision you are a part of!

Give to your pastors and Mentors!

Give to people... Just give!

Give your time, money, skill, intellect, energy... Whatever you can!

Give love, smiles, peace... Giving is a lifestyle of achievers. Giving from your heart without expecting anything in return. So, as this year rolls, don't just concentrate on what to gain, but more on what to give. But let me say something quickly: You should have a source of income to give if you don't want to go broke.😉 Don't only give without having a way of getting it back through your handwork.

Finally, we need balance in all these to get the best of our year! I'll talk about balance sometime this year...

Pray for your life... Pray about what you've read.

Those points that struck you the most, pray them into your life.

You can pray in tongues...

• Lord, make this Word Alive in my Life.
• Father, cause me to be spiritually sensitive and alert.
• Father, I decide today to seek You in 2020 and all the days of my life.
• Lord, I choose to trust you. Help me in my fears...

 Many of us have fear holding us down... Let it go! Trust Him and take actions!

There are some people here, what is holding you down is TOO MUCH KNOWLEDGE. You know too much that it's difficult to trust God. You re looking for a perfect condition to launch out. God is telling you to STEP OUT in faith like Peter and you'll not sink in the sea.

Receive Grace to Focus on a thing, without giving up.

Grace to stay with a course until it grows... Receive it.

Grace to go into DOING this year,  receive it.

Grace to Serve, receive it!

Grace to give, receive it!

The Lord is opening doors for us in this house.

Where you have been rejected many times, go back there, you will be accepted.

Where you had failed in the past, you will be exalted

It's time to leave that relationship that has never added value to your life.

You've given your all, including your aborted babies... And get nothing in return. Enough is enough! It's time to leave Egypt! The Lord said that we'll have marriages of our sisters who have waited for a long period..  It's your year! Multiple child-births are here! That job you're looking for, it's here for you! Before the end of this first quarter, you'll sing for joy.

You'll testify! It's our season of rest!

Sweat-less breakthroughs!

Trouble-free progress and promotions!

And so shall it be, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Every tear shall be wiped away! Especially that midnight tear... It's wiped away

Those that sow in tears shall reap in joy!

Thank You, Jesus! Glory to Your Name, Lord. He's opening eyes to see;

Ears to hear, spiritually.

Thank You, Father. We worship Your Name forever. For in Jesus' Name we've prayed. Amen.
