This is about the recent tilt of instructions and admonishments for women which has been on the increase. Most times, out of 10 Broadcast messages, 3 will be focused on ladies and women on how to conduct themselves to attract or keep their man. Hmmm... This has really gotten a lot of women tired that they keep asking:
Which should the men now do?
What instructions are written down for the men also?
This has caused a lot of conflicts and divisions amongst both sexes.
When you listen to most men and women argue, it's as regards whose role is more important? Who should do this or that?
Many times I look at the male folk (especially the boy - children) and I feel pity for them because I ask myself:
*Who teaches them?
*As we have many women and girlchild movements and groups, how many of such do we have for the men and boy children?
*Who is actually admonishing them?
Sometimes, I tell myself that if I were a guy, I would have had POSH Men's Academy, not POSH Ladies Academy, because I feel that they too need counsel and help. But then, I'm not a guy. *smiles*
However, I'm not writing to discredit anyone who has great burden and concerns about women (whether it's feminists or female folk activists), I'm only writing for two reasons:
1. To make the women not feel that every attention is on them because most write- ups tend to be focused on them. It actually takes two to make a family or relationship work, so the men are not left out. However, women are STRONG people emotionally, with a greater ability to absorb "heat" and cook the best "meal" out of that heat than the men. That's why it's as if the emphasis is always on them. The sustainability of most relationships lies more on the woman than the man (Let's tell ourselves the truth). Hence, women need to get it right.
Also, the purity or sanity of an environment lies more on the women. If a woman says NO to premarital sex, it's more difficult to break through (except through raping, which is already a crime) than when she wants it. If she wants it, it takes a miracle for the man not to fall. Trust me, ladies have discernment to know how to handle such situations if they don't want it than men. Hence, the emphasis on the female folk.
Also, it is said: "Educate a woman and build a Generation" and it's no lie. When a woman understands somethings, naturally it reflects in her children's lifestyles and avsane generation is raised. The first man, Adam fell because he didn't educate Eve, his wife adequately. Hence, the ladies need to hear it. (The men too need to know more than what the ladies know as well for synchronization sake.)
2. To open the eyes of women to the reality that they are more prone to Low Self -esteem than the men, especially because of the societal beliefs and practices. I don't mean that some men don't have low self-eateem, but the pattern of our society and religion makes it easier for a woman to have low self-esteem than the man.
Because only words can recreate a mind to have a new belief-system, people keep writing and talking to get that belief into the Ladies' minds. The things we read written for women are there to build us more. If you feel that there is a bias, you can choose to write to balance it, not to discriminate against the male folks.
♥ The truth is that we all need each other to survive- whether you are a man or a woman. So, let's stop this gender- fight and favouritism; it won't solve much problems. It only gives a temporary relief which accumulates more heinous problems. See the male folk as a part of the team in building Greatness in your world; don't see him as a threat or rival, and vice-versa.
Remember, the plot of the enemy is to destroy the Family, God's own area of interest, and this is how little weeds that mature to cause problems are sown. Don't join him in achieving this goal.
Say No to unnecessary Gender-Bias.
We all need each other.
I need a man to grow.
A man needs me to be better.
Together we work to achieve Greatness.
